A signal-tower at the entrance to a park, Misfit Tower gives new form and life to run-of-the-mill materials gleaned on-site. A zero-quality monument, it promotes mismatched architecture. Its diachronic rhythm of open/closed, inside/outside, gives it an unfinished air and confronts users with the alternating conditions of instability.
